The #1 complaint people have is that they cannot clear their mind during meditation. If you notice that you have this problem, try meditating with your eyes open while looking at something like the .gif above and listening to some music specifically for meditation, such as the player above. It works wonders! Just look and listen. Don’t wait for anything to happen and don’t think about time. Just let yourself look and listen. The longer you do, you will notice yourself starting to zone out. Just let it happen. Let your mind become quiet and open. Once you’ve mastered this, you can move on to more focused meditations.
