On April 5th, 2017 a tornado destroyed our home. We were inside the home when this happened. We did not hear the tornado coming and we did not see it. My daughter suffered a lacerated spleen which resulted in an emergency operation to remove her spleen, as well as three broken ribs. Our son suffered a fractured elbow. We lost one of our dogs, and every single thing we own. We are so grateful that everyone is alive. If anyone is able to donate, even $1 helps. Please donate through Pay Pal to the email address firstname.lastname@example.org or here: https://www.gofundme.com/daughters-home-destroyed-tornado
Thank you everybody and please be grateful every second of every day. It can be taken away from you in an instant.
Today marks a victory for the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe Water Protectors: “Shortly after federal Judge James Boasberg denied the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe’s request for an injunction against the Dakota Access oil pipeline, the U.S. Department of the Interior, Department of Justice and Army Corps of Engineers issued a joint statement that, in effect, temporarily halts all construction bordering Lake Oahe on the Missouri.” Read more.
This is great news but it’s only temporary! We need a permanent end to this pipeline.
